Babysitter's Boot Camp 2010 (June 7 & 8, Aug 2 & 3)

Babysitter's Boot Camp:     $65 (all inclusive - Scholarships available)

• for boys and girls ages 11 to 15
• learn skills to provide safe and responsible care for children and infants
• become certified in CPR & First Aid
• learn electrical and storm safety
• hands-on fire extinguisher training and fire simulation training
• learn care techniques and age appropriate games
• two day camp, meals and snacks provided.
• space is limited to first 30 campers.

• Learn the skill needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive.
• Basic disease transmission precautions covered.
• Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines.
• Certification is for three years!

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer  **NEW** 2yr certification for Healthcare Providers

• Responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants

• Pocket mask is required, registered participants may purchase at a discount price of $10
• Preventing disease transmission
• Use of bag-valve masks & AEDs
• This course meets all criteria of the Joint Commission of Accreditation for Hospitals.  American Red Cross certification is accepted in all 50 States.
